December

We've only had a skiff of snow so far, but the girls were eager to play in it!
Madelyn loved the snow! Every time we go outside she yells SNOW!!!
Mollie went on a daddy daughter date with Tyler and she picked to go get doughnuts! She was so excited for her "sparkle" doughnut!
We put up our Christmas tree, but I can't keep the girls or the cat out of it! I didn't put any glass ornaments on it this year, but I keep losing my gingerbread men. Cookie hauls them all around the house till they break!

The girls helped me make Christmas cookies!

We went to see the lights last Friday. It wasn't too cold this year, but it was super crowded! We probably spent as much time in the parking garage as we did looking at lights!
Notice Madelyn lost a boot! Luckily someone noticed and gave it to us!

We decorated a gingerbread house!

The girls made snowflakes to decorate our house!

Santa came to Audrey's school, and the girls were eager to tell him what they wanted for Christmas!

Only eight more days till Christmas, and the girls can hardly wait! We wrote our letters to Santa, and the girls know what cookies they want to bake for him!

Thanksgiving

We enjoyed Thanksgiving at my parent's house this year. The Shelley's came over so it was fun to have a full house, and lots of pie :)

My mom made these cute turkey shirts for the girls!

Fall!

Nothing says fall like playing in a giant pile of leaves!

A beautiful fall day at the park

Halloween!

Here we are at the Keyes family party.
This year we were the Frozen crew: Sven, Kristoff, Olaf, Anna, and Elsa

Carving pumpkins!

Cookie checking out the pumpkins

Audrey drew the face on her pumpkin, and I carved it. Mollie wanted hers to look like a kitty!

Our "spooky" dinner! We had pumpkin shaped pizza and skeleton bone bread sticks!

Ready to go out trick-or-treating!
The girls were so excited to go trick-or-treating, the second Audrey got home from kindergarten, they changed into their costumes and were ready to go! It was pretty chilly this year, so the girls didn't last too long, but they had a lot of fun!

Happy Halloween!

Eric and Alicia's Wedding!

Eric and Alicia got married in the Logan temple on October 20th! It was a rainy/windy fall day, but a beautiful wedding!
The DeLeeuw's only got to come up for a couple of days, but the girls loved playing with their cousins!
The night before the wedding, we stayed at the church till 11:00 at night helping Jessica put together the wedding cake!

The Yak made an appearance!

Family pictures. Sadly, the Hamakers weren't able to make it out

Getting a picture with the nieces and nephews didn't go so well!

Silly girl! Watching the cake being cut

Happy Birthday Mollie!

This cute crazy girl turned 4 on Sunday!
Mollie's favorite color is pink
She LOVES Hello Kitty
Her favorite food is bagels
When I asked her, she said her favorite animal is a caterpillar
Her favorite show is Shaun the Sheep
We still call her Momo
She has a wild imagination and loves to play all sorts of make believe games!

When I asked her what kind of cake she wanted, she said she would like an Anna-Hello Kitty one (Anna from Frozen!) I had no idea what that meant, so luckily she settled for just a Hello Kitty cake!

Blowing out matches! We forgot to pick up candles!

Opening presents

She was playing the piano, guitar, and party horn all at the same time!

Happy Birthday Mollie!

Pumpkins!

We were really excited to go to the same pumpkin patch that we went to last year, but we drove past it this year, it was completely barren! Not a pumpkin in sight! The girls really wanted to go to a pumpkin patch, so we found this little place that was selling pumpkins on main street, that was perfect for the girls to run around and pick pumpkins!

A perfect Madelyn sized one!

September

Mollie ended up getting a cast after two weeks in her splint. We were annoyed because we took her to the insta-care and they never told us that she needed a cast, they just told us to take her to the pediatrician in two weeks, and they'd take a look at it. So after two weeks in her stinky splint, we took her to the pediatrician, and they told us they couldn't do anything and we had to go to an orthopedist.  So we took her there, and they were like- Why did you wait so long to come see us??? Ugh! Had we been told the right thing from the insta-care, we could've gotten her properly casted in the first place! She ended up only having to wear the cast for two more weeks.

I painted a Hello Kitty on it so she would be more excited about it! It was a waterproof cast- too bad she didn't have the cast on when we went to St. George!
Four weeks after breaking her arm, she got her cast off!
"I can hold my hand up!"
When she broke it, she couldn't move her hand. So she was very excited that she could move her hand up!

Tyler has a lot of young men who play football, so we went to one of the Tooele High games. The girls had fun. They mostly enjoyed running up and down the bleachers!

Tyler's grandma celebrated her 90th birthday! They had a big celebration for her in Uintah.

We picked these monster banana squash from our garden!
The squash plant was HUGE! It took over our whole garden, and started to grow over our fence and grew into the pine tree you see behind Mollie!
