Springs and Flats

On the last day of July we wanted to go on a hike, so we found a place out past Grantsville called Horseshoe springs that we thought would be fun to explore.

It was a cool little spring in the middle of nowhere

The girls were not happy because there were tons of deerflies and mud!

Since we were already halfway there, we decided to keep going on I-80 and travel to see the Bonneville Salt Flats

The girls had a lot more fun at the salt flats than at the spring! They loved running around. Luckily it was kind of a stormy day, so it wasn't hot.

Mollie loved collecting salt, she filled a whole water bottle of salt!

We ate dinner in Wendover. We tried to get a picture of the girls standing in both Utah and Nevada!

July

Raspberry picking time!
Riley LOVED the raspberries!
We had planned to go camping with my Parents and Eric and Alicia for the fourth of July, but Riley got a UTI so we had a campout in our front room instead!
We went up and went kayaking the next day

The girls had swim lessons, and they loved it! Audrey and Mollie did great once we got them some goggles!

Every day after swim lessons, the girls would come home freezing! They would change into their pajamas and snuggle in blankets!
