December Fun!

We've had fun getting ready for Christmas this month!

 The girls loved decorating the Christmas tree. They have had fun playing with all the ornaments all month long, so I've given up on trying to keep the tree nice and pretty!

 We went to visit Santa when he came to our library!

 We haven't had too much snow yet, but luckily we had enough to make a big snowman!

 This week we were able to go see the lights at Temple Square.

 I got my Christmas present a little early this year! A piano!! As soon as we moved into our new house, I've been dreaming of getting a piano.  At the beginning of December Tyler was helping a family in our ward move out, and they had a piano that they weren't looking forward to moving, and Tyler told them that we were looking to buy a piano. So instead of moving the piano into the moving truck, they moved the piano to our house! I couldn't be happier!

Nine Months

On the 2nd this beautiful girl turned nine months old! It's crazy how time flies! It was almost exactly a year ago that I was put on bed rest!

She just learned to crawl last week. She was pretty mobile before, she had perfected the roll-sit up move. She would roll over, sit up, roll over, sit up, and work herself around the room. Now that she is crawling she is loving exploring our house.

 Here are a few pictures from her eight month. During the past month she tried her first real food: waffles! Not on purpose of course, I walked in the room, and she had found Audrey's waffle!

She got her first tooth! She kept sticking out her tongue, probably checking out her new tooth!

 She still prefers toes!

Sick Halloween!

We spent the last half of October sick! The day after Mollie's birthday we came home early from church because Mollie had a fever. She had a fever for four days before we took her in and found out she had strep throat! Since Audrey and Mollie share everything, especially germs, we knew that it'd just be a matter of time before Audrey got sick.  The next Monday, Audrey woke up with a fever , so we took her right in to the doctor, and sure enough, it was strep throat. Sadly that was the day of the Keyes annual trunk-or-treat, so we had to miss out on that.

Luckily the girls got better just in time for our ward trunk-or-treat. Audrey was so excited to be Honey Lemon from Big Hero 6. She knew what she wanted to be for Halloween since July! Mollie made an adorable chicken!

 I'm a bank robber with the money, and Tyler is the banker that got robbed!

Carving pumpkins!

On Halloween, both Audrey and Mollie ended up getting a stomach bug! They were so set on going out trick or treating, so we just took the few houses on our little cove. After we got home, they crashed on the couch and we just watched Curious George's Halloween. I felt really bad because they had been looking forward to Halloween since the first of October! They tried on their costumes nearly every day and practiced trick or treating around the house.

It was a sad Halloween this year. At least this cutie was healthy!

Seven Months

I never posted a seven month post for this girl, and she's already eight months now! But here is a picture of her at seven months... eating her toes! At seven months she spent all her time on her tummy, and rolled to reach whatever she wanted. She loves pulling her sister's hair, which is sometimes hard to explain to Audrey and Mollie that Madelyn is just a baby and doesn't know it hurts! She started babbling, when she gets mad she always yells MAMAMA!

Happy birthday to this cute girl! She turned three last Saturday!

 She wanted a Minnie Mouse birthday

 Mollie loves Mickey and Minnie, her favorite stuffed animals are her "squeakies" which are the Tsum Tsum Mickey and Minnie.

Mollie also loves Shaun the Sheep, we've probably seen the Shaun the Sheep movie a hundred times!

She's still a super picky eater and probably would be happy eating macaroni and cheese and pizza every day!

She is such a sweetheart and loves to snuggle!

Fall!

Audrey raking leaves at preschool!

We went to a fun little pumpkin patch here in Tooele. They let you go out in the fields and pick your own pumpkins, and when you're done, they haul you back.

The girls were so excited! Every time we go to the grocery store Mollie yells "PUMPKINS!!" and we have to go check out all the pumpkins in front of the store. So the pumpkin patch was very thrilling for them!

I'm pretty sure Audrey picked the first pumpkin she saw!

My Girls!

Audrey started preschool the beginning of September, here she is on her first day of school!

She loves preschool, and loves playing with her friends! She's already counting down the days to Halloween, she is set on being Honey Lemon from Big Hero Six for Halloween. 

Mollie is my silly girl! When I tell her to smile, she pulls a silly face!

She is now potty trained! Wahoo! She's really loving the time when Audrey is at preschool because she mostly gets mommy all to herself! She's getting super independent and has to do everything by herself!

This little cutie is six months old now! Yikes! How did that happen??

She's starting to like solid foods now, and so far carrots have been her favorites! She's so happy all of the time, I just love her smiles!

 People always ask who she looks like... and I don't know!

August

Somehow August has come and gone!  Summer is all but over, and I'm terribly sad about it! I'm going to miss our pool and popsicle afternoons! Here are our end of summer pictures!

We discovered a great pool here in Tooele! We went there for a stake activity and had lots of fun!

When I was figuring out our menu and trying to decide what to make for dinner, Audrey found this recipe, and decided that's what we were going to have for dinner! We made it for dessert instead, and Audrey was very excited for it!

 This adorable girl turned 5 months old!

She tried cereal for the first time... 

 ...and was not a fan!

We've been wanting a bike trailer forever, and we finally got one last month. It also doubles as a jogging stroller, so maybe we can start running again!

We went with Mama and picked tomatoes, and I spent a lot of time canning (by myself for the first time!) Tyler was very excited for all the salsa he got!

The Rest of July

July is my favorite month of the year, and it always goes by so fast! So here are a few pictures from July.

At the beginning of July, this little cutie turned 4 months old! She's always so happy, and so quick to smile.

During this month, Madelyn learned to roll over. She hates being on her tummy though, so every time she rolls over she gets mad.

I had a birthday, shout hooray! Since there is no shopping in Tooele, we went up to my parents' house, and my mom watched the girls so Tyler and I could do a little birthday shopping! Then my mom made a delicious lunch complete with a birthday cake! The girls were more than happy to help me blow our my candles!

We made kebabs for my birthday dinner, and Mollie had a delicious grilled cheese kebab!

We found our new favorite park, the girls always ask to go to the dinosaur park!

 I bought these floaties for Lake Powell, but the girls didn't like using them at the lake, but they love using them in the ten inches of water in our pool! haha!
