Oh Baby!

Baby Keyes is due the fourth of July! We'll celebrate with fireworks!

I am now 13 weeks along, so I'm pretty much done with my first trimester. Yay! I haven't really had morning sickness this whole time, which is good! I have been super tired and food usually never sounds good, but I haven't been throwing up, which is a plus. I'm not really showing yet, I've got a tiny little belly that only is noticable to me.

Here are the most recent ultrasound pictures! Yay, it actually looks like a baby! We are oh so excited!

Life Update!

So! What have we been up to for the past little bit?

Well, finals and school got over last week. And both Tyler and I made it out alive!! Woot woot! I am so excited because that was my last round of finals!! Wahoo!!! Next semester I am going to be student teaching, so I will be the one giving out the tests! Bwahahah!

I am very proud of myself, I got a 4.0 this semester with 18 credit hours! Yes! I think that deserves bragging rights! I am so excited about it because of ALL of my years of college I've never gotten a 4.0! So, yay for me :)

And now, I am back at Cavanaugh's! Hahaha, I always say that I'm done working there, yet somehow I find myself selling chocolates once again! They really needed the seasonal help this year, they only have four employees! Yikes! So I'll be working a lot till Christmas.

In January I am going to start student teaching at T.H. Bell Junior High School. The junior high is located in Washington Terrace, and it includes everyone in Washington Terrace and Riverdale. I'm pretty nervous to student teach, but I'm also excited!

Tyler and the cat are doing just the same as always. Tyler still hates her, she still bugs him.

Temple Square!

It's not Christmas without a trip to go see the lights down at Temple Square! We've been able to go twice this year. We met Tyler's family down there two weeks ago, and then last Sunday we were able to meet my family there.

Here are some pictures! You can only tell the pictures that were taken on different days because my beanie changes! haha

Oh Christmas Tree!

Yay for Christmas! I love Christmas, and Christmas decorations! This year we squeezed (squoze?) our tree in the corner, but I think that it still looks good! haha, minus the crooked star, we can never get that thing to stand up straight!

This year we didn't travel as much as we traveled last year, but we still got a few new ornaments.

This one is from Moab, when we went in July! Its the arch, I think that it looks pretty cool.

And this one is from Kennecott Copper mine, thus it is made out of copper!

And then, we made these in Young Womens. Oh yes, I got called to be in the Young Women's presidency in our ward! One of our first activities we made Christmas ornaments. I thought that these turned out pretty cute, plus they were super easy to make. I just cut out Christmas tree shapes out of cardboard, and then wrapped yarn around it till it looked good, and then for the final touches, buttons! Ta-da!

Thanksgiving fun!

We spent Thanksgiving with my family this year. The DeLeeuw's were in Tooele so it was just Tyler and me, my parents, and Eric and Keith. It was a small group, but the food was still delicious!

One BIG turkey!

The next morning, Jessica and I went out black Friday shopping! Woot! We went out at four in the morning to head to the mall. My only black Friday goal was to get some boots, and I did! Yay! We went to a few stores in the mall, and then we went to Tai Pan. They don't really have any super black Friday deals, but we always like to go there to kick off the Christmas season and buy Christmas decorations! Tai Pan also gave out a free bird candle holder to the first customers, so that was my big prize for the day, a candle holder in the shape of a bird... Wahoo!

Saturday was Keith's 19th birthday! Yay! Happy Birthday Keith!

Pumpkin Carving!

Here's a few pictures of our pumpkins from Halloween!

If you can't tell what Tyler's pumkin is, its a pumpkin's cracked head, with his skull poking through. haha, poor guy!

And then my pumpkin was bas the bat! We only had one candle, so we never actually got to light both of our pumpkins! Darn! But they still looked good!

Well's Fargo Pumpkin Competition

At Tyler's work they had a pumpkin decorating contest for the month of October. Everybody had to decoarte a pumpkin, and all the customers got to vote on their favorite pumpkin. Tyler decorated his like Nemo! Nemo had the lead in the beginning, but then the Hulk came and completely beat everyone else, but don't worry, Nemo came in a strong second. We'll get them next year!

Here are all the other decorated pumpkins.
A witch, Nemo and an Angry Bird, Lion pumpkin, Wolverine and spider webs, Thor and the winner Hulk

Halloween Costumes!

This year for Halloween we were Princess Leia and Han Solo! Woot woot!

Tyler really isn't sad in this picture, he is just pulling his best "Han Solo" face!

Don't you love my fake hair buns? Its actually just a headband with the hair buns, so I didn't have to wear a whole wig!

Here's the real deal! We look just like them! Except Tyler would have to grow his hair out a little...

BYU game!

Yesterday Tyler and I were able to get some tickets to the BYU game. It was BYU vs. Idaho State, and the only thing that I know about Idaho State is that Weber State beat them, so we were pretty darn sure BYU was going to win. In the first few minutes Idaho State got three points, and that's all they got for the rest of the game! BYU scored a few more points than that... they ended up with 56 points! Our seats were seriously two rows in front of the band! So we might have been a little deaf after the game! Here are some pretty neat touchdown shots that Tyler was able to get

Here is a video of the fight song, sorry the sound is really bad, but we wanted to show how close we were to the band!

Bear Lake!

Two weeks ago, we went with my family to Bear Lake for one last hoo-rah before the summer ended. On Saturday my dad, Bill, Tyler and I went scuba diving! The diving was pretty good. The water was fairly decent until we hit the thermocline. When we first got in the water, it was about 73 degrees. Then once we got down to about 25 feet the water suddenly dropped to about 50 degrees. It was pretty crazy! But that's why we had wet suits! Here are some pictures, we bought and underwater camera. So the underwater ones are kind of fuzzy because I scanned them into my computer.

Hey look! Its me!

And here is Tyler!

Hehe, look at my hair!

Its my dad!

And Bill!

Look! Carp!

Since we were in Bear Lake, we had to go get raspberry shakes! yum!

Haha! This picture cracks me up! Trevor had been playing with some charcoal, and had rubbed it all over his face!

My first quilt!

Ok! I am super excited about this! I began the quilting process the summer of 2009! oi! So it has only taken me three whole summers to complete!

Summer number one: I cut out all the squares
Summer number two: Lots and lots of sewing, I sewed all the blocks, and then sewed all the blocks together to make the top
Summer number three(like last week): I sewed the border on, tied it off (with my moms help of course), and finished it off with the binding!

Few! What a project! For me, this is a huge sewing accomplishment! So, Yay for me!
