Audrey's Birthday

Audrey turned nine last week! Audrey was sad that Tyler wouldn't be here for her birthday because he was camping with the young men. Mama and Papa came over for her birthday and we had a movie night and watched the new Disney movie Luca!

Audrey wanted the same birthday cake she had a couple of years ago with strawberries and whipped cream!

The week after her birthday we rented a bounce house and had a cousin birthday party! The girls were in heaven! They've been asking for a bunce house for years!

She's a great artist and loves to draw and create. Audrey loves making comic books staring her super hero Stronalina.  She loves legos and especially loves the Mario lego she got for her birthday!

 

Mesa Verde

We spent a weekend in Mesa Verde with Tyler's Parents

Papa gave the girls some money so they could pick out something at the gift shop. Madelyn picked out a stuffed moose that she adored. Sadly, she took the moose with her on a trail and she accidentally dropped it, and because it was round it rolled under a fence and rolled right off a cliff! It was pretty traumatic for poor Madelyn! She still gets upset when she sees this picture of her holding the moose!

The girls were disappointed that we weren't able to go into any of the cliff dwellings and we wore them out with all the hiking, but they said they still had fun!
