Labor Day Weekend Par-tay!

We had plans this Labor Day to go down to Lake Powell again with Hollie and David like we did last year. But at the last minute, plans changed and they ended up coming up here instead!

They came up Saturday evening and we met at a mystery thai restauraunt in Ogden. We were kinda scared at the restauraunt becuase it was an explosion of Buddas and kitties inside. But the food was still pretty good, I haven't really decided my opinion on Thai food yet... Funny story though! So we got fortune cookies and Tyler's read: "Enjoy life while you still can" While you still can?! Now thats a little creepy...

So on Sunday they went to church with us, becuase we still had to teach our primary lesson. That week our primary lesson was on tithing. So we brought ten nickels to show the kids about tithing. After class, we left the nickels in a box in our classroom, and after we came back to get them, there were only two nickels in the box! We were robbed.... at church! Someone stole forty cents!!!

On Monday we had plans to go to a water park, but the weather decided to turn against us and was not ideal to go swimming! So instead we changed our plans and went to the zoo instead! It was INSANLEY packed with little children! So for future reference, don't go to the zoo on labor day!




There was a baby elephant that I was trying really hard to get a picture of. But there were so many people in the way that I couldn't get a good shot! So here's me and the mama elephant!

I love this, becuase it looks like even the rhino was posing for the picture!




Have you ever ridden this train? Its pretty much ridiculous! First of all we had to wait in line for about 15 minutes for it, and then the train ride lasted about 30 seconds!
