September

We had plans to go camping the weekend after Labor Day, and the weekend we decided to go an arctic storm blew in from Canada! A giant wind storm hit the Wasatch front with hurricane force winds. Luckily we didn't get the winds, but we got some cold weather! I had to pull out the winter coats for two days for the girls! And now we're back up to shorts weather! It was pretty crazy! But because of the cold temperatures, we were not able to take our camping trip. So instead of camping we took a day trip out with mama an papa and went kayaking and had a picnic!

The girls loved kayaking and were really good at doing it by themselves!

Along with arctic storms, we've had a lot of smoke in the air from fires burning on the west coast. All the smoke has given us some good sunsets.
We've had a lot of days with a red sun due to the smoke.
These two pictures were taken a day apart. One day was super smoky and the next day the mountains were covered in snow!

Matchy matchy masks!
