Riley helping pick peppers from the garden
Smores!
We had to cut down one of our trees because it was dying, so the girls held a funeral for the tree! In the words of Audrey "He stood tall and true and shaded us from the smoking man."
We planted three more trees, so hopefully we'll get some more shade soon!
After living her more than five years we finally hiked up to the "T" in Tooele
These were the first fall colors we saw of the season
The hike wasn't too long, but it was pretty steep so it took a while with the kids. When we got up to the actual "T" it was super steep and Madelyn was super scared because she's afraid of heights.
When we got to the top the sun was just coming over the edge of the mountain
By the time we were done with the hike our children looked like chimney sweeps!
A few weeks later we did another hike, this time the fall colors were amazing!
On our way back Madelyn was leading the way, and she came back terrified yelling to us "wolves! wolves!" Luckily the wolves turned out to just be these cows! Haha!
