One good, one bad

Last week was a good and bad week.

First, let's start with the good.  Ever since Tyler started working for Wells Fargo, it was his goal to become a Business Training Consultant for Wells Fargo, which is basically a teacher, that trains all of the employees of Wells Fargo how to do their jobs. Well, after nearly five years, he did it! Last week Tyler interviewed for the position on Tuesday, and on Thursday he got the call saying he got the job! Yay! We are both super excited! The job is in Salt Lake, so he will have to commute. He'll have to commute for a few years, because we'll probably end up living here for three more years, after that, who knows where we will live, but it will probably be somewhere a little closer to Salt Lake!  I think that this job will be a great fit for Tyler.  When we were dating, Tyler actually was thinking about getting his degree in education, but when he started working for Wells he decided that he wanted to stick with the company. So now he gets the best of both worlds, he gets to work for Wells Fargo, and he gets to teach!  He is going to be in Las Vegas the whole last week of October for training, that week I will be 38 weeks pregnant!  Meaning the baby could come ANY time! So we are praying that I go to my due date this time!

Now for the sad part of last week... We put our cat Bella down on Friday. It was really hard to make the decision, but it was beyond her time to go.  We had her for four years, but we have no idea how old she was when we got her.  It just seemed that she was getting too old, and had a lot of problems. She's had bathroom problems for a long time, and she was withering away to just skin and bones. When she started to lose her fur on her foot, we took her to the vet, but they basically just robbed us of our money! They charged us an arm and a leg to do blood work and said that it was probably her thyroid, but we'd have to send her blood work to another vet  for another mere $150 and then they would diagnose her and THEN after that we could spend even more money to try and treat her.  So pretty much they charged us for nothing! We knew we'd have to put her down before winter because she couldn't stay in the house anymore because she had no control when it came to going to the bathroom.   With a new baby coming soon we didn't want to have to deal with it, so we just decided on Friday to take her in.  It was a really sad day for me, I knew that she would be so much happier and not in pain anymore, but it was sad to see Tyler drive away with her. Even though Tyler only put up with the cat for all these years for me, he was even sad for her. He told me that out of respect he didn't even turn on the radio on the drive to the vet.  She was a good little friend.

Oh I cried when I read this. Poor Bella. Me and the boys have been sad for you. We will always remember the story of Tyler taking a shower with her :)
