One whole year!

A whole year has gone by since that lovely day of June 25th, 2009!!!

I can't believe that Tyler and I have already been married one year... it feels like we just barely got married, but on the other hand I can hardly remember what it was like without him!

For our anniversary we went up the canyon and stayed the night at the Alaskan Inn. They have little cabins that you can stay in or suites. We just stayed in a suite. They all have themes, and our room was called the Alaskan, very suitable for a room in the Alaskan Inn, yes?

We really enjoyed it- its decorated as if you were in a little log cabin with a nice jetted tub too! One of my favorite parts was that there we got sparkling cider and fancy glasses!

Cheers!

Also lurking near our bed was a gigantic black bear!

But don't worry, we soon became friends!

My favorite part is that they bring you breakfast!

We stayed there on Thursday night, so we woke up on our anniversary there to party all day! We went to go see Toy Story 3, but the next movie didn't start for an hour, so we decided to go to Fat Cats across the street and play some games. We didn't win a whole lot of tickets, just enough to buy a fun dip and 2 laffy taffies! Wahoo! The movie was really good, I thought that it might have been a little intense for little kids, but it was still good!

Later that day we went to the Ogden temple and did sealings! We even got to go peak in the room that we were sealed in exactly one year ago! There was another couple there for their anniversary too! Although it was their 11th anniversary... so they'd been married a couple years longer than us...

Later that night I opened up my freezer and noticed something that had been sitting in there for a very long time...

Oh ya! Our cake!

So as tradition goes, we ate a piece of our one year old wedding cake!

I was a little nervous at first, cuz who knows how it was going to taste, like the peas it was sitting next to?

It actually wasn't bad... not good... but not bad... haha, after one piece we'd had plenty of cake and finally said farewell to the cake!
