Camping Trip

At the beginning of August we took a camping trip with my parents. We camped at Pioneer campground, which is just outside of Hyrum. We'd never been there before, but we wanted to go somewhere close, and that was the only place we could find reservations for. It turned out to be a really nice campground, and we had a lot of fun. We got a little chilly at night, because when I looked up the weather, it wasn't supposed to get cold at all so I didn't pack very warm clothes! The nights got pretty cold, but we had mama and papas trailer to warm up in the morning!

The campground was next to a river. so we spent the day playing in the river. We had a picnic lunch by the river and after the girls wanted to swim in the river, but the water was freezing! I could barely stick my toes in without them hurting. Keith was brave and completely dunked himself in the water!

There was a really old park nearby that we played at. It had the largest swing set that I've ever seen! Tyler said it felt like riding a roller coaster! 

We found a nice spot to go kayaking. 

After we were done kayaking the boys thought it'd be fun to kayak back to camp. But it turned out the river was not so calm and peaceful on the way back. It was really rough for the boys and they came back soaked and bruised and Keith had even lost his glasses! Papa's kayaks were pretty banged up too!

Before we headed home, we went to Logan and went to the zoo there
