I heart Moab

Over Halloween weekend, we went down to Moab with Katy, Kyle, and little baby Ben. I was really afraid of freezing our tails off becuase the day before we headed down there was the first snowfall! But luckily Moab was really nice, and Katy and Kyle borrowed their grandpa's nice trailer with a lovely heater :)

We tried to leave as early as possible, but we didn't end up leaving town till about seven. So we didn't make it down to our campsite till about one in the morning!



On Saturday we did a couple of hikes, including the Delicate Arch. I was really excited to do this hike, becuase last time we went we were only got to see the arch from a distance. This time we actually got to touch it! woot woot! Although... after touching it, Tyler has come up with the theory that the arch is fake becuase it sounds hollow... but don't listen to him, he's crazy :)

We decided that this one looks like a sea turtle! Do you see it?




Since it was Halloween, we had to celebrate and carve a pumpkin! yay! He doesn't have a name, but he is the creation of all ouf us. Katy scooped out his guts, I did the eyes, Tyler did the nose, and Kyle did the mouth.


That night, we went to all the little shops in Moab to find Katy a hoodie for her birthday. While we were in the shops it started down pouring like crazy! Too bad for all the little kiddies trick or treating!

On Sunday morning, we did a couple of jeeping trails, which was pretty crazy, because I've never been jeeping before. Some of those trails a pretty scary becuase teh trails are pretty much verticle! Yikes!




Ben had to borrow my hat, becuase we had all planned for cold weather, and didn't think that'd we be worrying about the sun!



Yay! So if you even notice the bumper sticker on the Colt, you'll know that we heart Moab! hehe (Tyler actually got that bumper sticker his senior year of highschool...)
