This post is for you Texans in your swimming pools, and you Missourians with your windows open!
A couple of weeks ago we had a crazy ice storm here in Utah! It was the weirdest thing I've ever seen! The temperature was below freezing, yet it was raining, so the instant the rain would hit the ground it would just freeze! Everything was completely coated in a thick sheet of ice, so the roads were madness! Luckily I didn't have to go anywhere that day! My poor dad was stuck in Chicago because all the flights were canceled at the Salt Lake Airport!
Since the driveway was basically an ice skating rink, Tyler had to beat at the ice with a shovel first to crack it all up, then he had to shovel away all the ice chunks! Pretty crazy!

We were pretty proud of our icicle, it finally touched the ground!

Tyler is wearing what I usually wear here in Texas... except the average temperature here is 70! What were you thinking Tyler, where is your coat?? Also, we have had some experience with ice, just the other day to cool off we had ice cream banana splits! delicious!
That's insane! It was 60 again yesterday when we came out of church. We loved it!
